Shelley Buchbinder

Shelley recently completed field work exploring narratives of economic revitalization and the impacts of unlikely promises of social and economic stability in a small economically restructured former mill town. Based on her research, she is currently turning her attention towards the intersections between community and waste in similar settings. She currently teaches in the Urban Studies department at Queens College.
