Affiliated and Consortium Programs

THE CITY UNIVERSITY OFFERS VAST RESOURCES FOR THE STUDY OF ALMOST ANYTHING.

CUNY is built of eleven senior colleges with campuses across New York City, with many of the PhD programs housed at the Graduate Center. Students in Environmental Psychology may freely enroll in graduate courses from any program in the CUNY system, including other Ph.D. programs at the Graduate Center such as Developmental Psychology, Social-Personality Psychology, Public Health, Sociology, Anthropology, and Geography. Students also enroll in other CUNY programs such as Urban Design at City College, Organizational Psychology at Baruch, or Urban Affairs at Hunter College.

THERE ARE FORMAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS WITHIN THE GRADUATE CENTER.

Students may pursue formal Concentrations in Health or Psychology and Law. Both are within the GC Ph.D. Psychology program and both carry specific requirements. GC Certificate Programs include Women’s Studies and Interactive Technology & Pedagogy. These other CUNY programs also carry specific requirements.

OUTSIDE CUNY THERE ARE MANY, MANY OPTIONS.

Another opportunity is to cross-enroll for coursework at Consortium Schools in the New York City metropolitan area. The Graduate Center is a member of the Inter-University Doctoral Consortium including Columbia University, Princeton University, Rutgers University, Fordham University, Stony Brook University, The New School, and New York University. The choices are virtually endless.
